Dr Eric Yip was elected the Treasurer for DAISI in 2017. Dr Yip is an anaesthetist who works at Ryde Public, Norwest Private, and Sydney Adventist Hospital, and has been a key participant in shipping medical supplies to the Solomon Islands. He has done a. Umber of visits to the Solomon Islands with his first visit to National Referral Hospital and Gizo hospital in Feb/March 2017. Dr Yip recently returned to the Solomon Islands in Feb/Mar 2018 to assist with surgical visit to National Referral Hospital (NRH) and Buala hospital (Isabel Province). Dr Yip is a capable and resourceful anaesthetist who is keen on regional blocks often required for remote surgery where GA facilities are lacking.
