Dr Rooney Jagilly is a senior General Surgeon at National Referral Hospital, Honiara, Solomon Islands.   Dr Rooney Jagilly has a strong passion for helping his people (Wantok) of the Solomon Islands, and has been instrumental in coordinating various government and non-government aid organisations to help improve medical services in the Solomon Islands.  Dr Rooney Jagilly has been instrumental in establishing links with DAISI and each of the hospitals in the nine provinces that make up the Solomon Islands.  Dr Jagilly has also been active in collaborating and working with his Pacific Island neighbours.
