Dr Carina Chow is a colorectal surgeon from Royal Women’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital in Brisbane. Dr Chow completed her MBBS undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney, and is a member of the colorectal training (CSSANZ). She undertook further specialist training at Anam Hospital, Korea University Medical College, in Seoul. Dr Chow led a team of specialist volunteers from Brisbane to Gizo Hospital in early January 2017 in the far Western Province of the Solomon Islands, with her husband Dr Ben Green who is a Breast & Endocrine Surgeon and two other anaesthetists. Dr Chow is keen to return annually with her husband Dr Ben Green, and is next scheduled to spend a week at Gizo hospital in early July 2018.
