Dr Rajesh Brijball  is an anaesthetist from Royal Women’s Hospital in Brisbane.  Dr Brijball volunteered at Sopas District Hospital, Enga Province, The Highlands, in mid March 2019, where the emphasis was teaching laparoscopic surgery to the local surgeons and anaesthetic skills to the Anaesthetic Scientific Officers (ASO).  This was the first introduction of laparoscopic surgery to the Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
