| Team Members: This one week trip will involve PNG Program Coordinator Mark Taffa, Colorectal surgeon Dr Matt Rickard & Breast Surgeon Dr Erick Fuentes volunteering at Sopas with Anaesthetists Dr Adelene Ong and Dr Jessica Lim, Fellow Dr Roumel Valentin, Registrars Dr Tiffany Gould and Clair Mitchell, and scrub nurse from Concord Hospital Gillian Dolan. . Itinerary The team will depart Sydney domestic terminal 2 at 6:05am (Jetstar JQ810) Sunday 9th May 2021, arriving Brisbane 7:35am, with 2h55m stopover. Depart Brisbane international airport terminal 1 10:30am (Air Nuigini PX4), and arrive Port Moresby 1:40pm with 1h15m stopover. Depart Port Moresby 2:55pm (Air Nuigini PX878) Sun 9th May 2021 arriving Mt Hagen Airport 4:25pm . Dr Elvis Japhlet will meet the team at Mt Hagen with two 4wd, and transport volunteers to Sopas Hospital. Plan is surgery all day Mon 10th May 2021 until Thur13th May 2021. The team will depart Sopas hospital 7:00am Friday 14th May 2021 by 4WD and travel 2h trip to Mount Hagen. The team will depart Mt Hagen at 10:25am (PX883), arriving Port Moresby domestic at 11:55am. Then depart Port Moresby international airport 1:30pm (Qantas QF58), arriving Brisbane international airport 4:30pm. Then will depart Brisbane domestic airport 6:10pm arrive Sydney domestic airport terminal 3 at 7:45pm Friday 14th May 2021.. Briefing Session Planning meeting (Briefing Session) will occur on at a restaurant over dinner at 7pm on Thursday 15th April 2020 amongst Sydney/Newcastle volunteers over dinner.
