Dr Veral Vishnoi is a SET surgical Registrar from John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, who organised a Hunter RMO Association (HRMOA) Charity Dinner in August 2017 raising $10,000 to purchase an ambulance for Kilu ‘ufi hospital in Auki, Solomon Islands. Dr Vishnoi volunteered on a surgical trip to Gizo in October 2018, and again in Oct 2019, with plans to volunteer in PNG in 2020.
