Flight Departure (Sydney to Mt Hagen)

Depart Sunday 10th May (10h 55m) 

The team will depart Sydney domestic terminal 2 at 6:05am (Jetstar JQ810) Sunday 10th May 2020, arriving Brisbane 7:35am, with 2h55m stopover. Depart Brisbane international airport terminal 1 10:30am (Air Nuigini PX4), and arrive Port Moresby 1:40pm with 1h15m stopover.  Depart Port Moresby 2:55pm (Air Nuigini PX878) Sun 10th May arriving Mt Hagen Airport 4:25pm .

Dr Elvis Japhlet will meet the team at Mt Hagen with two 4wd, and transport volunteers to Sopas Hospital.

 

4WD Transfer (Mount Hagen to and from Sopas Hospital)

Sunday 10th May, surgeons Dr Elvis Japhlet and Dr Max Pangali will pick up volunteers from Mt Hagen Airport at 4:45pm and take them to Sopas Hospital by 4wD, (2 hour drive) with planned arrival at Sopas hospital 6:45pm

Friday 15th May surgeons Dr Elvis Japhlet and Dr Max Pangali will pick up volunteers from Sopas Hospital 7am and take them by two 4WD to Mt Hagen Airport with planned arrival at 9am.

Return Flight (Mt Hagen to Sydney)

Friday 15th May (9h 50m) 

The team will depart Mt Hagen Domestic airport at 10:25am (PX883), arriving Port Moresby domestic at 11:55am.  Then depart Port Moresby international airport 1:30pm (Qantas QF58), arriving Brisbane international airport 4:30pm.  Then will depart Brisbane domestic airport  6:10pm arrive Sydney domestic airport terminal 3 at 7:45pm Friday 15th May 2020.

 

 

Luggage allowance checked in is 30kg for international flights and 16kg for domestic flights. All tickets include travel insurance.
