Prof Ian Bissett is a Colorectal Surgeon, and the academic head of department of Surgery at University of Auckland, who has broad experience in colorectal surgery. Prof Bissett has a keen interest in teaching colorectal surgery in the developing world, including Solomon Islands, particularly if it invokes training of national surgeons.
