Dr Harry Lam is the current Kiribati Program Officer. Dr Lam is an anaesthetist at St George Public Hospital in Sydney who has volunteered on many surgical missions in the past to developing world countries including nine trips to Nepal and more recently several trips to the Pacific Islands, including Kiribati and the Solomon Islands. Dr Harry Lam has a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) had is an enthusiastic teaching, with particular expertise in ultrasound guided regional Anaesthesia and cardiac echo.
Dr Harry Lam is a vibrant, charismatic person with a zest for life, and describes himself as a photographer first, and anaesthetist second! Dr Harry Lam has also created many video montages of his trips to Nepal and the South Pacific, which includes footage from his drone. His family often accompany him on volunteer trips.
