Dr Andrew Luck


Dr Andrew Luck is a colorectal surgeon from Lyell McEwin hospital in Adelaide and past president of the CSSANZ and current Chairman of the CSSANZ foundation.
He has had a long interest in humanitarian work and was first was exposed to volunteer work in the Pacific Islands as a medical student while on elective in Niue. His subsequent work since being a doctor has included volunteering in Arnhem Land and Vellore Hospital Tamil Nadu in Southern India. Dr Luck’s other interests include running a stud farm, and participating in long-distance marathons.  Dr Luck volunteered at Gizo hospital in the far Western Province as part of a colorectal surgical team in January 2017.
