Dr David Hateley is a GP-anaesthetist  from the Northern Coast of NSW, Australia with a keen interest in humanitarian work in the Pacific Islands and is committed to regular visits to the Solomon Islands. As a GP registrar he visited Namuga hospital, Makira, in Dec/Jan 2014-2015.

In addition to medical work, David is a keen surfer, and first came into contact with the Solomon Islands via Surfing Doctors.
