Dr Elvis Japhlet is a General Surgeon from Enga Province, Highlands of PNG, who has been instrumental in coordinating DAISI visits to PNG.  Dr Japhlet, originally from Solomon Islands, has also participated in volunteer work in the Solomon Islands, in the Malaita Province, where he is originally from.
