Dr James Fink is currently working as a physician at the Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals in Queensland, Australia. He is an Associate Professor with the Bond University Medical School. Dr Fink has been leading Bond’s ongoing medical student placement in the Solomon Islands. This work is based at the Kirakira Hospital in Makira. Since 2013 over 200 students have visited Kirakira in association with this program focusing on not only health, but also infrastructure and education. Dr Fink visits Kirakira two to three times a year.
