Dr Malcolm Steel is a colorectal surgeon from Box Hill (where he is head of the colorectal Unit) and Royal Women’s hospital, Melbourne. Dr Steel completed medical studies at The University of Melbourne, then undertook colorectal surgery fellowships at Box Hill Hospital in 2000 and The Cleveland Clinic, USA, in 2002. Dr Steel is a member of the CSSANZ society, and involved in the planning of ongoing colorectal workshops at the National Referral Hospital (NRH) in Honiara and Gizo hospital (the next scheduled for June/July 2017).
