Dr Viliami Tangi is the head surgeon at Vaiola Hospital and president of the Pacific Islands Surgical Association (PISA). Dr Tangi was Minister for Health from 1999-2010 and appointed Lord Tangi in March 2017 by his king George Tupo V and his Majesty’s Privy Council.
