All DAISI volunteers must provide DAISI with a current National Police Check (NPC) and a Working With Children Check (WWCC) before volunteering with DAISI.
The National Police Check (NPC) can be applied for online with credit card payment of $42. The application takes 5 minutes, and the NPC is mailed to your nominated address within a fortnight. New Zealand applicants need to apply for a Criminal Records Check.

A Working with Children Check is also required and can be applied for online (The QLD equivalent is the Blue Card and the ACT equivalent is the Working With Vulnerable People Check). New Zealand applicants need to apply for a Childrens Worker Safety Check.
