Ruth is a registered nurse from Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital where she worked for many years as a colorectal and surgical nurse. Ruth volunteered at Gizo Hospital, Western Province of the Solomon Islands in July 2019 with a visiting Gynaecological team involved in teaching laparoscopic surgery and is keen to return.
