DAISI is a not-for-profit organisation made up completely of volunteers, with none of our staff receiving a salary.
DAISI’s Executive Board Members are also DAISI’s directors, and include a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer & Secretary. These are voted on every two years.
DAISI also has Office Bearers responsible for the day-to-day running of activities, directly responsible to the Chief Executive Officer. These are voted in every two years.
DAISI’s General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of DAISI, and the first contact person on all matters related to its projects.
DAISI members include doctors, nurses and non medical personnel who have volunteered with DAISI in the South-Pacific and are committed to DAISI’s Constitution and abide by its Code of Conduct.
Protection Officers are senior members of DAISI responsible for the protection of vulnerable groups and areas. Each Protection Officer also has an online Incident Reporting platform on the DAISI website that allow them to be directly contacted an notified by anyone with a concern within their portfolio.
DAISI’s Audit & Risk Committee include a minimum of three members with the necessary legal, finance and corporate experience to provide independent expert advise to DAISI Executive on matters of risk.
